Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced OT Project Manager with a proven track record of leading complex DCS projects, in the Lifesciences sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of dedicated OT project management experience, with experience in managing key project milestones such as Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and handovers. This role involves working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, automation, and IT/OT teams.
Key Responsibilities
DCS Project Execution Oversight
Oversee planning and coordination for DCS projects, including new system installations, migrations, and upgrades.
Ensure control system design and implementation align with site standards and operational needs.
Manage key project milestones such as Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and handover.
Support development and execution of cutover plans to minimize production downtime.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact between operations, engineering, automation, and IT/OT teams.
Engage regularly with plant leadership, production teams, and global support functions to align project activities.
Manage vendor relationships with automation suppliers such as Emerson, Schneider, and Siemens.
Facilitate communication across disciplines to ensure all parties understand project priorities and timelines.
Project Planning & Delivery
Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business goals.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering schedules, resources, budgets, and milestones.
Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth execution across all project phases.
Track project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
Lead project status meetings and provide clear reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
Risk Management
Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
Proactively escalate and address issues impacting timelines or quality.
Quality Assurance
Ensure data integration solutions meet accuracy, reliability, and performance standards.
Review deliverables, conduct audits, and lead quality control activities.
Budget Oversight
Manage project budgets and track expenditures.
Ensure efficient resource use and adherence to financial constraints.
Quality System Responsibilities
Perform work in accordance with Deep Digital's Quality Management System (QMS).
Maintain complete and accurate documentation as required by QMS procedures.
Promote quality across all project phases by contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Report any non-conformances or improvement ideas to support quality initiatives.
Understand and apply the company's Quality Policy in daily work.

Job requirements
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
5–7 years of project management experience, including delivery of automation, control, or infrastructure projects.
Working knowledge of DCS technologies such as Emerson DeltaV, Foxboro, or Siemens PCS7.
Strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, operations, validation, IT/OT).
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
Experience operating within a GMP environment.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
